IR exposure maintain

I’m learning this is Lab currently and i’m not sure if i understand it fully so i want some outside insight.

When going from table top to a 16:1 grid, how would compensate to maintain IR exposure?

Is it just the grid maintenance formula or is it the 15% rule? maybe both??
