ARRT CQR PSA

Want to send a fair warning to all my fellow ARRT folks. If you decide to do your CQR test at home via Webcam, proceed with caution. ARRT has made it very clear that the CQR process is about one thing, making them money!

I was midway through my exam when my computer did a forced update pop up. I was told by pearson that I would have the chance to finish my test... long story short, ARRT denied all of my efforts to do so. I was told that "some people are not computer literate and don't understand how to close all applications ". Thank you, Cathy, for all but calling me an idiot.

My test was graded on where I was on the test, and i was assigned 22.5 CE credits. If you've gotten to this point, ARRT is so kind as to offer you CE options if you're willing to spend a mortgage payment. Or you can do .25 credits at a time for $5 each and be finished 9 years from now when you're preparing for the next round.

If you're like me and don't like either of the listed options, you can use the site takece.com, who were AMAZING! They helped me find the most time and money conscious option.

Do rad techs/sonographers deal with vomit often?

Hi there! I’m currently considering going to school to be a rad tech or sonographer but I’m struggling to find out if you guys deal with vomit a lot. I am emetophobic (phobia of vomit) and, while I think I’d like these jobs a lot, it does worry me to think about having to deal with it often. Thank you for your help! submitted by /u/pootscoot1 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/p5y0aa/do_rad_techssonographers_deal_with_vomit_often/

Radiology program

I’m from New York looking to attend a Rad tech program. I work for Northwell and recently came across a flyer for John Patrick University. it is an online AS program with clinicals in person (which my job will allow me to do) It seems as if this program is not accredited by JCERT but the school is accredited by ACCSC. I reached out to the director of the school and also the arrt and they say that there would be no issue taking boards. I haven’t really heard of anyone going through online program so I wanted to make sure everything checks out. Since this was being advertised at work I couldn’t see why they would put something that wouldn’t be accepted out.
