Applying to RSNA 2022 as a ultrasound tech.

I really want to to go to this years RSNA. I currently work at a Hospital in Denmark and aside from ECR in Vienna 5 years ago I haven't been to any congress. And that was as a student. I'm writing a motivated aplication to my boss and I'm coming a bit short on what the congress will do for me and my workplace. How far is radiology in the field of artificial intelligence

I'm not a doctor or radiologist, but I'm wondering about the progress in AI. I've seen incredible results from AI in various fields and based on that, I would suspect that AI has advanced a lot in radiology. There is a massive amount of data available and the models can be trained daily. Should I stop going to work full time to pursue the radiology program full time?

Should I stop working full time to go to school full time? I’ve been accepted into a local community college who has been advocating for me to join there radiology program. They told to retake my English course and take an additional course “Medical Terminology” to boost up my GPA to be considered for their program but by the way how it sounds it sounds like I have a firm chance at getting in. I’ve been in contact with the program director to the point we know each other’s voices. I want to make a transition because I am making about $17 an hour now and once I’m done with the program I have some Friends who can get me situated with making $35 an hour straight out of school. I don’t pay rent because I used my 90% of my inheritance to buy a condo all cash and that’s about it I’m sitting on 50k cash. No deb

cqr study guides

I'm taking my car for radiology in June. I haven't worked in x-ray in about 5 years so it's not exactly fresh in my mind. I remember a mosby and lang making study guides for radiography back when I took my boards. Of course these new editions are like $50 bucks ( and have three different types one that goes in detail about everything, one with flash cards, one with mock boards) I'm 34 weeks pregnant and want to attempt to have as little CE s as possible which is why I want to study some. Can anyone recommend which text I should get...I'm leaning toward just the mock boards. But part of me is like you really need to go over physics. I feel like I've retained nothing. I'm an IEMRT and on the process of trying to pass my CAMRT exam. To those IEMRT we all know how hard their exam is and how expensive the exam costs are. Im on my 3rd try and It's frustrating to be in this position while trying to live, strive a career and be able to pass this exam in Canada. It's an exam harder than any type of exam I've ever had. I just wanna vent a little and unleash my frustration. I feel like they don't wanna give some people like me who came to canada a chance to be able to work here in canada as an immigrant. I understand that dedication, determination and studying harder is the key. I did my best but it's not enough to be able to pass the exam. In my opinion being able to pass the exam this hard doesn't make you the best xray tech. Being able to apply your learnings, trainings and being able to work in a hospital or in any areas of your field is the most important thing. A struggling X-Ray Student

I am a radiology (X-ray) student enrolled in a 2-year ASRT (American Society of Radiologic Techs) accredited program through my local hospital. The area I live in is well populated and the program has a high reputation and the highest passing rate in the state. There are no other hospitals nearby(no competition=even shittier pay than most hospitals). The schoolwork is pretty rough and on top of clinicals, it can be challenging. The program already has a lot of competition and only accepts 20 people a year so I feel very fortunate to have gotten in. Now that I have laid out the background info, let me dive into the issues. Our teachers are all over the place and try to probe us for drama to satisfy their misery. They have no structure..We have already lost several people due to either stress or failing grades. On top of this mess, most of the radiology techs we work clinical rotations with are the most miserable people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They are suppose
