Use of hyperpolarised noble gases for MRI scans

Hello there!

I am (hopefully) making my graduation at Rad-tech school next year and I am about to write my first bachelor-thesis. As it hasn't been discussed in our lectures I am very curious about the use of hyperpolarised gases like Helium-3 or Xenon-129 for MRI scans. It isn't a common used method in our country, but I still would like to write about it. I already have read several studies and would like to know more about the daily use of it, especially in lung diagnostics. My main questions are:

Is it used frequently in your facility? What are the main application areas? Is there any significant diagnostic advantage compared to other methods (SPECT/FRT/HR-CT)?

I am very eager to read your answers, it is really an interesting topic!

Onetonline salary search change?

Did this change? I am having a hard time finding the same lists I saw 2 months ago. https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/29-2034.00#AdditionalInformation https://www.onetonline.org/link/localwages/29-2034.00?st=OR&p=hourly I used to be able to see wage by area and sort it by state and see the differences per state and per city in every state. I can't seem to find this same list anymore. I can see a bell curve but I can't sort by state or wage or anything. Thanks! submitted by /u/xxDamnationxx [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/h9oqup/onetonline_salary_search_change/

Radiology program

I’m from New York looking to attend a Rad tech program. I work for Northwell and recently came across a flyer for John Patrick University. it is an online AS program with clinicals in person (which my job will allow me to do) It seems as if this program is not accredited by JCERT but the school is accredited by ACCSC. I reached out to the director of the school and also the arrt and they say that there would be no issue taking boards. I haven’t really heard of anyone going through online program so I wanted to make sure everything checks out. Since this was being advertised at work I couldn’t see why they would put something that wouldn’t be accepted out.
