Is this an acceptable community for patient to ask a question?

Hello, not sure if it's okay for me to post here. Didn't know where else to go for this. This is a patient's question (I'm the patient). I just had an MRI not long ago and the radiologists did a cervical/thoracic scan, no contrast...I'm 35, female, 120 lbs, no smoking. The readings came back with "slight smooth kyphosis of C5-C6, borderline degenerative disc disease if the same joint with associated bulging, and from C-3 to C7 there was partial disc desiccation. It freaked me out and don't know how to translate that. The only thing that stood out to me in the scan was that the white part of my spinal cord was narrower and the curve looked like it was pushing into it. No hernias, stenosis, they said either. Is this a bad sign? Not sure if it's normal for my age. Should I give up things I used to enjoy like running and such? I don't want to make this worse. Anyway, if this is in the wrong community, sorry. Thanks.

AI for radiology - A survey

Hello folks! We are a group of students from Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University (Sweden). We are conducting a short survey (it should not take more than 10 minutes of your time) to evaluate an Artificial Intelligence framework for evaluating medical imaging and, in particular, the effect that explainability can have on clinicians' attitudes toward it. We welcome anyone who interacts with medical imaging to take our survey, so please, feel free to do it even if you are still a student or an intern! If you know someone who works in the field, please, pass them the survey. It would help us greatly. https://bit.ly/RTEX_survey Thanks in advance to all of you! submitted by /u/francozzz [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/r2ratp/ai_for_radiology_a_survey/
