RTR (M) here! I’ve been in the field for close to 7 years now, am a tech 2, have a masters degree, etc. I haven’t worked since my son was born 5 months ago and with COVID, not sure when I’ll feel comfortable going back on a scheduled basis. I love being in the hospital but let’s be honest, it’s draining. Usually under appreciated with not enough resources and supposed to work miracles. Where do I go from here? Has anyone switched careers but stayed in the medical field and/or radiology ? How hard was it to make the switch? Anyone go into teaching? PACS? Rep stuff? Etc?
