One of the sites I work at is getting a Siemens Xcite installed sometime in the next year. We currently have a go.All at one site and do not do pre-surgical orthopedic scans there due to not having a way to do measurements on the topogram per pre-surgical protocols.
Many of the CT Techs at the site getting the new scanner are concerned that the Xcite, because it has the same tech interface (or so we've been told), will also not be able to do measurements based on the topogram for pre-surgical scans.
So. For anyone that uses either an Xcite or a go.All (or any go platform), is there a way? And what is it? I'd like to calm the fears they have. Google is not helpful... I know we will have plenty of time with Apps when the time comes. But the excitement of finally getting a new scanner is getting bogged down by the concerns that it will somehow make life harder. (Seriously, the 10 year old Definition is soooooo sloooowww... and it keeps crapping out.)
