I have started the process of becoming a rad tech and I’m very hopeful I will get into the program!

I posted maybe a few months ago about switching career paths and I’ve started the process. I’ve met most of the prerequisites except for taking anatomy and physiology and the HESI exam. I will be starting in June and am very hopeful to be excepted into the program after petitioning in February of 2024.

We’ll see! I’m very very nervous about being accepted. All I can do is study hard and hope I’m selected. I really appreciate how helpful those on this subreddit have been so far and the more I learn, the more motivated I am to pursue this :)

Edit: I should say HOPEFULLY becoming a rad tech

Do rad techs/sonographers deal with vomit often?

Hi there! I’m currently considering going to school to be a rad tech or sonographer but I’m struggling to find out if you guys deal with vomit a lot. I am emetophobic (phobia of vomit) and, while I think I’d like these jobs a lot, it does worry me to think about having to deal with it often. Thank you for your help! submitted by /u/pootscoot1 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/p5y0aa/do_rad_techssonographers_deal_with_vomit_often/
