Hello all!
To give some background, I’m currently in my junior year at UNLV, studying Criminal Justice. I like the field don’t get me wrong but it just seems like I won’t enjoy the career as much as I thought I would, and they pay for most positions with a BA in Crim J is pretty dang low and I don’t want to be a cop. I’ve been looking into x Ray and radiology and I saw my college at UNLV offers a “Certificate in Radiography”! My mom works at a hospital and that’s how I even looked into the idea in the first place. I’ve already got my AA so that’s a nice start, but the description as well as things online aren’t really helping me with finding what jobs are available with the certificate. With this, what could I do and what scans would I be doing? If it helps, here’s a link to my schools certificate page. https://www.unlv.edu/certificate/radiography#career thanks for any feedback and advice!
