How common is it for ct contrast dye to pass through the blood brain barrier?

I came across an article and wonder if it could explain why I had a neurological reaction or contrast dye 3 months ago,apparently you can have something called a leaky brain and I wonder if this is why I reacted. Not looking for a diagnosis as I’ve already been to a neurologist just opinions. https://radiopaedia.org/articles/contrast-induced-neurotoxicity?lang=us
