Good resources for a layperson to better interpret their own radiology images (not a personal submission)
So I'm overseas in a foreign country with limited medical resources available. I was able to get some imaging tests done, but the local doctors here tend to overlook medical issues - especially when it comes to foreigners.
Imaging on my issue seems to be relatively clear, but on a closer review of the MRI slides i'm noticing a few things that don't exactly seem right.
As much as I'd love to upgrade to the western facilities, I'm no longer insured and out of pocket is a bit of a mess, easily 10x~50x in cost. I have recently received a pelvic MRI with contrast to better examine some discomfort and pain in the region; and trying to better understand what I'm looking at; now trying to read these charts better.
So while Google helps a bit - are there good online resources to better compare / understand the imaging? Maybe the equivalent to UptoDate for radiologists or something?
