Pregnant patient questions?

So I've come across a few patients here and there and I've never given a solid answer to patients who ask about the effects of xrays if they are pregnant or unsure that they are. I usually just drive them towards the doc and let them explain it to them.

What's do you guys typically tell patients when they ask about the risks of x rays for a pregnant patient?
