How common is it for unicornuate uterus to be missed on US & CT scans?

Asking for myself, mainly out of curiosity. I’ve had many pelvic ultrasounds over the years and a couple of pelvic CT scans. Unicornuate morphology was never noted. I even had an IUD for a few years and the placement checks never noted anything unusual. My most recent ultrasound results say that I have a unicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn containing endometrium. I have an appointment with OBGYN but it’s a ways out and the confusion is killing me. I do have both ovaries. I’m not looking for medical advice, more curious about the imaging and why something like that would be hidden or hard to see. I wasn’t sure where else to ask this and the internet hasn’t been helpful.

Do rad techs/sonographers deal with vomit often?

Hi there! I’m currently considering going to school to be a rad tech or sonographer but I’m struggling to find out if you guys deal with vomit a lot. I am emetophobic (phobia of vomit) and, while I think I’d like these jobs a lot, it does worry me to think about having to deal with it often. Thank you for your help! submitted by /u/pootscoot1 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/p5y0aa/do_rad_techssonographers_deal_with_vomit_often/
