Is it normal to have a reaction to a saline injection into the arm, before getting a MRI? This isn’t the first time I’ve experience this. About 5-10 minutes after the injection, my whole body feels flushed and weak. I start to sweat and then get chills. It subsides in time, but quite alarming.
Note: the contrast came much later with no issues & I don’t think it was a heparin flush..
Is this a normal thing, have you heard of a response to and IV flush like this before?
