MRI - Spine

If anyone wants to take a minute to interpret this I would appreciate greatly. For reference subject in question had an L4-L5 microdisectomy back in June, 2022.

January 2023

Findings: The prevertebral soft tissues are unremarkable. Vertebral alignment remains grossly preserved. Redemonstration of transitional lumbosacral anatomy. Age-appropriate bone marrow signal characteristics. Normal position of conus medullaris. Superior intervertebral disks and facet joints unremarkable. L4-L5: Disc desiccation, circumferential disc osteophyte complex and broad-based shallow left paramedian disc protrusion with annular fissure. Near complete reduction of previous disc extrusion. There is persistent but less pronounced left subarticular recess narrowing and residual foraminal stenosis. L5-S1: Mild bilateral facet hypertrophy with mild left foraminal narrowing. Normal visualized sacroiliac joints.

. IMPRESSION: Interval postsurgical reduction of the L4-L5 disc extrusion.

Do rad techs/sonographers deal with vomit often?

Hi there! I’m currently considering going to school to be a rad tech or sonographer but I’m struggling to find out if you guys deal with vomit a lot. I am emetophobic (phobia of vomit) and, while I think I’d like these jobs a lot, it does worry me to think about having to deal with it often. Thank you for your help! submitted by /u/pootscoot1 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/p5y0aa/do_rad_techssonographers_deal_with_vomit_often/

Radiology program

I’m from New York looking to attend a Rad tech program. I work for Northwell and recently came across a flyer for John Patrick University. it is an online AS program with clinicals in person (which my job will allow me to do) It seems as if this program is not accredited by JCERT but the school is accredited by ACCSC. I reached out to the director of the school and also the arrt and they say that there would be no issue taking boards. I haven’t really heard of anyone going through online program so I wanted to make sure everything checks out. Since this was being advertised at work I couldn’t see why they would put something that wouldn’t be accepted out.
