Can radiologist comfortably know if something is edema or a tumor without patient history?

Let’s say you get to review MRI images of a patient. And you see something. It’s either a tumor or edema. Can you find out what it is without knowing if the patient has had an injury or not?

How would you know what it is? Does edema and tumor look similar on MRI?
