Hello,
I am a student of computer science working on a project that involves NSCLC subjects and I did not know where to ask this question.
I wanted to ask if radiologists can tell/get idea about distinguishing squamous cell carcinoma from adenocarcinoma in lung from PET/CT images? what tissue characteristic or texture in PET/CT that can point to the respective molecular subtype?
I know that there are papers that use quantities like SUV or CT volume to correlate with histologic subtypes for NSCLC but are there features in images that are telling? If you can suggest papers or where can I look, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!
