Hi, so I'm a first year in radiation sciences. My prof taught us all about x-ray production and stuff.
I know that there is characteristic radiation and Bremsstrahlung radiation. I also know about Compton scatter and Photoelectric absorption. I know that it's the photons hitting the film screen that produces the x-ray image.
What I'm confused about is though: Let's say electron comes, liberates target atom electron, another electron drops down and releases energy in form of photon which is recorded on film screen. WHERE IS THE SCATTER AND PHOTOELECTRIC ABSORPTION COMING IN??? Like I don't understand how scatter and photoelectric absorption related to bremsstrahlung and characteristic radiation. Pls helppp ;((((((
