phleboliths or not?

Since October of last year I have been in the emergency room! I always complain of pain in the pelvis! I've lost count of the number of times I've been to the hospital! In November I had a CT scan but they lost the image! I had a new CT scan last week! I took the test to my urologist and he said it's nothing, it's just phleboliths! He told me that the pain I feel in the region of these points makes no sense. I am feeling very sad because no one believes in my pain. In the pee and blood tests, according to the doctors, nothing significant appears! I feel a lot of pain in my testicles and I feel a very strong pain in the place where these bright spots appear! I swore it was trapped stones because my pee is dark and foamy! I did the 24 hour exam and nothing much showed up, just a few bacteria. I feel so much pain that sometimes I want to disappear from the world. Can someone help me? submitted by /u/idkbroju [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/R

Screws from shoulder replacement broken off into several pieces

I thought you guys might find my mom’s shoulder X-ray interesting. The screws from her previous shoulder replacement broke off into several pieces, so they had to go back in and remove it all. Can someone have bruising on the brain from a very severe TBI after 13 years?

Question is pretty self explanatory. I know ultrasound but nothing about the brain or MRI. I had to get one today due to problems that could possibly be cause due to a TBI I had 13 years ago (got hit and then ran over by car). I was curious if there could still be bruising or any signs of the TBI this long after it happened. I know I will get the results regardless but I was curious in general what signs can still be present in anyone after a long period of time. Thank you to anyone for answering! submitted by /u/anxiousbabyswiss [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/14latcc/can_someone_have_bruising_on_the_brain_from_a/

No idea what's in this dude's chest. Any guesses? It obviously stumped the radiologist since he said nothing about this. [Layman question] Life-long chain smoker with tuberculosis?

Greetings sub! Sorry if silly question, I don't know where to ask. I'm a nurse working in countryside of 3rd world country and radiologists here are difficult to find. The X-ray image annexed shows the chest of 58 years old black man, life-long chain smoker with severe Anemia, Thrombocytopenia and 20 mg/dl C-reactive protein. I think I'm seeing some poorly defined margins on right side, witch I understand as something related to tuberculosis. Cans someone give any insight? Any help will be immensely appreciated. https://preview.redd.it/fd34vg4q068b1.jpg?width=1166&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=582c340a04eee79cc6cecdd6e4577991528a9fd4 submitted by /u/retardadoineducavel [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/14im6wk/layman_question_lifelong_chain_smoker_with/

Constant Program Policy Changes

Hello, I'm a soon to be second year student who is currently freaking out due to yet another policy change in our program requirements. We previously only had to drug test at the beginning of our new year of clinicals so twice the whole program now we're being told we'll be tested "unannounced" during the fall semester. Is this even legal? I've worked in this hospital system already for 10 years and never been randomly tested, it seems insane to hold students to a higher standard than employees. But besides that if you have ANY experience with this PLEASE give me your input. Please no judgement, it's not needed at all right now. Thank you. submitted by /u/_EmeraldEye_ [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/14ijery/constant_program_policy_changes/

Cervical X-Rays Post-PRP

F21 cervical flexion and neutral x-ray images. December 2022 x-rays reported loss of cervical lordosis, mild anterolisthesis C4 on C5, and minimal anterolisthesis C3 on C4. However symptoms were that of upper cervical instability: visual snow and floaters, tingling/numbness in hands and legs, dizziness, light and sound sensitivity, and headache and neck pain. Normal MRI/CT. Symptoms increased with neck motions looking down or rotating. Symptoms were written off as anxiety for months, prescribed gabapentin, prednisone that only worsened symptoms. June 2023 x-rays shows some improvement and radiology report no longer shows any anterolisthesis or loss of cervical lordosis. X-rays were taken after 2 rounds of PRP from C1-C7. Both procedures targeted different areas, supraspinous, interspinous, and nuchal ligaments, and facets were injected. Symptomatically better however still experience neck pain (flares) when looking down or rotating. Injury and symptom onset after chiropractic man
