I passed the ARRT and don’t really have anyone to tell.

A month before I graduated from my radiography program, I gave birth to twins. Being a first time mom to twins and a really challenging case of PPD made me postpone my registry exam. That was two years ago. I pushed my registry back so far that I developed severe test anxiety, and then the pandemic started. After getting help with my anxiety, I studied for two months straight and took my test. I expected to fail the first try, but I passed. I don’t really have anyone to tell. I’m proud of myself for the first time in a long time, and I just wanted to share with someone.

I have an interview with a great hospital tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!

Do rad techs/sonographers deal with vomit often?

Hi there! I’m currently considering going to school to be a rad tech or sonographer but I’m struggling to find out if you guys deal with vomit a lot. I am emetophobic (phobia of vomit) and, while I think I’d like these jobs a lot, it does worry me to think about having to deal with it often. Thank you for your help! submitted by /u/pootscoot1 [link] [comments] source https://www.reddit.com/r/Radiology/comments/p5y0aa/do_rad_techssonographers_deal_with_vomit_often/
