How often does an MRI with contrast reveal something significant such as cancer, an infection, or something else for patients with an acoustic neuroma tumor? 1 in 5 patients, 1 in 10 patients, 1 in 50 patients, 1 in 100 patients, etc. I don't want to risk contaminating my body with a heavy metal unless there is a high probability that there are other important health issues associated with it. What has been your experience and what did you find in the MRI scan? Thanks!
